Nawal has been expelled from her home country. For the last five years of her life she has not spoken a word and now she is dead. When her two children read her will they discover a secret. They have a brother, whom they did not know existed and a father who is supposed to be alive. The siblings are instructed to hand over a letter to their brother and thus begins a journey into the past which leads to the discovery of a violent deed.
