The American theoretician on transpersonal psychology, Ken Wilber, met his greatest love late in life. It is love at first sight, which is soon put to the test when his wife Treya is diagnosed with cancer just before their honeymoon. What follows is a five year struggle on the edge of life and death but it is always about love, the common search for meaning between hope and fear. The couple's diary recordings and reflections bear witness to this and they exemplify how we humans struggle between feelings of guilt, fear, loneliness, and what we commonly perceive as success in our society. Luk Perceval has developed a choreographic production from this authentic love story as a requiem to the primordial powers of survival and life.
