We continue our Frankfurt biographical series, presenting a kaleidoscope of this city. The three authors meet with residents to discuss various topics and these experiences of life in the metropolis are, in turn, condensed into mono-dramas. In the end, the life of a Frankfurter is portrayed by an actor, visually accompanied by video artist Philip Bussmann and directed by Anselm Weber. Our three authors for this project are the Büchner Prize winner and language virtuoso Martin Mosebach, the lover of documentary research and close observer of his contemporaries Thomas Pletzinger and the East German native Antje Rávic Strubel, who has received numerous literary awards and scholarships for her expressive novels. All three authors will be writing for the first time for the Schauspiel Frankfurt. The series is being developed in collaboration with the Literaturhaus Frankfurt.
