Chiaki Soma

ist Gründerin und stellv. Direktorin des Kollektivs Arts Commons Tokyo. Sie war u. a. als Programmdirektorin von »Festival/Tokyo« (2009–2013), Kuratorin für darstellende Künste der Aichi Triennale (2019/2022) und Executive Producer des Toyooka Theater Festivals 2021 tätig. 2015 wurde sie mit dem französischen Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres und 2021 mit dem Kunstförderpreis des japanischen Kulturministers ausgezeichnet. Sie ist außerdem Professorin an der Graduate School of Fine Arts der Tokyo University of the Arts.

She is also a professor at the Graduate School of Fine Arts at Tokyo University of the Arts.
